The Springer Nature open access agreement quota for 2026 has expired. APC support will not be provided for the remainder of the year. Authors whose articles are currently in the editorial process, if accepted, can publish their articles free of charge in closed access if the journal is hybrid, or as open access if the journal is gold, provided they cover the costs themselves.
