According to the information provided by TUBITAK ULAKBIM, the status of the 2026 article quotas under the Wiley Open Access Agreement as of August 12, 2026, is as follows:

• Gold Open Access Journals: The allocated article quota for 2026 has been exhausted. In accordance with the agreement terms, APC (Article Processing Charge) support will not be provided for articles accepted in Gold Open Access journals for the remainder of the year.

  • Note: Even if an article has previously received conditional acceptance or the open access process has already been initiated, APC support cannot be covered under the agreement due to the depletion of the quota.

• Hybrid Journals: The remaining quota for 2026 is 189 articles. Open access support will continue to be provided for eligible articles until the quota is fully exhausted.

Reminder: Quotas for Gold and Hybrid journals are managed completely independently. The availability of remaining quota in Hybrid journals does not imply that support continues for Gold journals.
