The annual quota for open-access publications, as defined in the agreement between TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and Wiley has been fully used. As a result, any open-access publication requests submitted after this date will not be fulfilled under the agreement.

The quota will be reinstated on January 1, 2025, and requests will be processed from that date onwards.

Authors will see the following message on the Wiley website:

“The open access funding agreement between TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM and Wiley has exhausted for this year. Between now and 31 December 2024, you may still choose to publish open access, but the publishing fee will not be covered by the agreement. For more information, contact the open access team at your institution.”
