TÜBİTAK – Wiley “Read & Publish” Agreement (2026-2028)
Within the scope of the EKUAL Project conducted by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, the “Read & Publish” agreement between TÜBİTAK and Wiley has been renewed for the 2026-2028 period.
Authors should take note of the following details regarding the article publication process:
Critical Dates and Acceptance Criteria
- The “TÜBİTAK Open Access Article Account” for the 2026-2028 period will become active as of February 17, 2026.
- Only articles accepted on or after this date will be considered under the agreement. Articles accepted before February 17, 2026, are not eligible for coverage.
Supported Journals and Publication Types
- Journal Criteria: Hybrid and Gold OA journals within the Web of Science (WoS) SCIE/SSCI (Q1 & Q2) categories are supported.
- Exceptions: All journals under the AHCI index are supported (unless otherwise stated); however, journals in the ESCI category are excluded from the scope.
- Publication Types: “Research Article”, “Review Article”, “Data Article”, and “Rapid Publication” types are supported.
Author and Quota Limits
- Corresponding Author: They must be on the active academic staff of universities. An institutional e-mail address must be used during the application.
- Individual Quota: An author can receive funding support for a maximum of 5 articles per year.
- Country Quota: There is an annual national quota (a total of 1823 articles for 2026). Once an article is accepted by the journal, applications will be processed on a “first-come, first-served” basis.
