Advance Your Career: Research Data Management Training and EU-Approved Certification Opportunity!

Funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program and in partnership with theIZTECH Library, we are organizing training sessions on research data management as part of the PATTERN project.

Training and EU-approved certification opportunities that will make a difference in your career!

In a rapidly changing technological and academic environment, acquiring effective data management skills is critical for researchers. These trainings provide researchers with comprehensive information on how to structure, document, and share data in line with FAIR principles. This enables participants to gain competencies that can influence the success of not only their individual research but also large-scale projects. Throughout the training, you will gain in-depth knowledge about the data lifecycle and develop practical skills such as how to create Data Management Plans (DMPs).

Learn to manage your data more effectively, improve your research quality, and maximize your scientific contribution with Research Data Management training.

About PATTERN Project

PATTERN is a coordination and support initiative that aims to promote Open and Responsible Research and Innovation (Open RRI) practices by developing educational activities and piloting applications for researchers at every stage of their careers.

PATTERN emerged from an institutional and societal need for researchers to transfer their professional skills outside academia. This is because doctoral graduates are increasingly pursuing non-academic career paths. Research institutions have therefore begun to allocate resources to advanced training in versatile and transferable skills to facilitate this transition.

PATTERN training aims to strengthen researchers’ transferable skills related to Open and Responsible Research and Innovation. The ultimate goal is to empower higher education institutions and research organizations to embrace a transformative process that enables them to achieve objectives such as enhancing the excellence of scientific activities, improving their capacity to address societal challenges within the European Research Area (ERA), and improving the interaction between science and society.
